Wonderland Kazakiri has announced the upcoming release of an action RPG titled ‘CASSETTE BOY’. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Switch, and PC via Steam and is set to launch in 2024.
Players will enter a 2D world but will soon learn that it is much deeper than it appears, with more dimensions than meets the eye. The game is a puzzle RPG with the unique feature of a Schrodinger system. Objects that are hidden by walls or other objects disappear when the map is rotated and players can proceed through the stages by erasing or displaying the objects they need.
CASSETTE BOY also features enemies and boss monsters, which can be defeated by using weapons players can collect along the way. The game requires players to solve puzzles, find items, and uncover the mysteries of the world by changing the world into the shape they want it to be.
The Schrodinger system is an integral part of the game. In this world, what you can’t observe doesn’t exist. Therefore, the only truth is what you can see on the screen. The people you talk to don’t exist unless you’re observing them. Players will need to flip the world around to bring things in and out of existence.
