Ubisoft Plus Launches on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One with Limited Game Access

Ubisoft Plus, the subscription service that offers a wide selection of Ubisoft games, including new releases, has finally launched on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. However, players on the console will have access to a limited selection compared to players on PC. Ubisoft Plus subscribers on Xbox can play over 60 games, while PC subscribers can access over 100 games.

Despite the limited game access, fans of Ubisoft games might still find the subscription service appealing. To use Ubisoft Plus on Xbox, gamers will need to pay for the Multi Access plan, which costs $17.99 per month and allows them to play on Xbox, PC, and Amazon’s Luna cloud gaming service.

This announcement has been long awaited, with Ubisoft first revealing in January of 2022 that the subscription service would be coming to Microsoft’s consoles. This launch expands the range of subscription services that Xbox users can choose from for playing games. Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft’s subscription service, offers access to a wide range of games from both Microsoft and other developers. Additionally, EA offers its own subscription service, EA Play, which includes EA games and can be purchased separately or as a bundle with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscriptions.

While Xbox players may not have access to the full library of Ubisoft games, the launch of Ubisoft Plus on Xbox could still be a game-changer for fans of the developer’s titles.
