Unbeatable bundle deal: Get Xbox Series S with physical games at Pawn Shop now, no disc drive required!

A pawn shop in the US is selling a bundle for Microsoft’s Xbox Series S console that includes physical games. The bundle is currently on offer for $219 and includes an Xbox Series S console, as well as Xbox One versions of NBA 2K20, Madden NFL 20, and EA Sports UFC. The bundle makes little sense, however, since the Xbox Series S console does not have a disc drive. This means that the physical games will be useless to anyone who buys them as part of the bundle.

The Xbox Series S, which is typically priced at $299.99, is $200 cheaper than the Xbox Series X console. It has proven popular with budget-minded gamers who still want to access next-gen-only games and make the most out of their Xbox Game Pass subscriptions. While the Xbox Series S can play all of the same games as the Series X, it is weaker and lacks a disc drive, which is a deal-breaker for some gamers.

It’s worth noting that the bundle at the pawn shop comes with a black Xbox One controller, rather than the white Xbox Series X/S controller that is included with new Xbox Series S consoles. However, a red Xbox Series X/S controller is also included.

This bundle doesn’t make much sense, as it offers physical games that can’t be used with the console, but it does save buyers $200 on the price of a new Xbox Series S console. Microsoft has yet to lower the price of the Xbox Series S below $199.
