Starting from April 22, Thomas Was Alone, a popular indie platformer game regularly priced at $10, is now on sale for only $0.99, thanks to a massive 90 percent discount and the ongoing PlayStation Store sale.
With one million copies sold, Thomas Was Alone became the world’s first sentient AIs, working together in a 2D minimalist platformer about jumping and floating, as well as demonstrating some anti-gravity skills. The game follows rectangles overcoming obstacles and utilizing their unique abilities to reach the end of each level.
Although Thomas Was Alone received mixed reviews depending on the platform it was played on, it was still highly appreciated for its impressive storyline of the world’s first sentient AI.
For people interested in purchasing the game, you can only buy it using a PS4 or PS5 due to an error when purchasing through the web browser, where it’s currently not available for purchase. Also, the game was previously made free with PS Plus, and is still available to PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium subscribers.
