Pokemon Stadium Comes to Nintendo Switch Online Expansion, but with One Big Missing Feature

Pokemon Stadium fans have good news as Nintendo has announced another N64 classic, but with one big missing feature. The system is adding Pokemon Stadium to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass service on April 12. The game includes all 151 Pocket Monsters from the original line-up and nine mini-games, according to the official description. However, unlike the original, players won’t be able to transfer Pokemon from the Game Boy titles.

On the plus side, the Nintendo Switch Online version of the game comes with online multiplayer support. Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack costs £34.99 for an annual membership, and members can play Sega Mega Drive, Game Boy Advance, SNES and NES games, in addition to N64 titles.

Pokemon Stadium fans who are members of the service can expect the game to join the Nintendo Switch Online at around 3 pm BST UK time on April 12.
