Get Your Game On: PlayStation Plus Drops Free Must-Play Titles for April 2023

David Wolinsky

PlayStation has released the free games for PlayStation Plus in April, and there are some great titles across both PS4 and PS5 this month. Available now, the games are Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Meet Your Maker, and Tails of Iron. All three games are available on PS4 and PS5, and as an added little bonus, Meet Your Maker is actually a brand-new game that launched alongside its PS Plus inclusion.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a spin-off of the Little Big Planet series, Sackboy launched alongside the PS5 in 2020–though it also released for PS4, too. Regardless of which PlayStation platform you game on, it’s a great platforming adventure game that offers superb mechanics, great level design, and an incredible soundtrack make. If you’re looking for a game to play with your kids or with friends, this is ideal for couch co-op for up to four players.

For those who love a challenge, Odd Bug Studio’s Tails of Iron is definitely worth checking out. This side-scrolling RPG with storybook graphics comes with tough melee combat that will test one’s fortitude. You play as a rat named Redgi who leads the charge to save the kingdom from evil frogs.

Meet Your Maker is a brand-new online multiplayer game that launches for consoles and PC on April 4. PlayStation Plus subscribers won’t have to spend a dime to start playing this building-and-raiding game that tasks them with creating and plundering labyrinthine fortresses filled with perilous traps and guards. Outposts can be built solo or alongside a friend, so that players can have a unique experience together.

Make sure to claim the PS Plus free games lineup for March 2023 before April 4 to get Battlefield 2042, Minecraft Dungeons, and Code Vein games for free.
