The long-awaited ‘Aliens: Fireteam Elite’ game by Cold Iron Studios has finally made its debut on Nintendo Switch. Gamers on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC can join in the fun thanks to crossplay capabilities.
The fourth horde map, ‘Terminal Containment,’ is also now available with the update, and has been released on consoles as well as PC. The map features a single-floor interior with multiple entry points where players will have to fend off wave after wave of Xenomorphs while navigating around the map. The central control room is a good location to mount defenses, however, players must coordinate with their team to ensure survival. The update offers a reward of new cosmetic items to players on difficulty levels Intense, Extreme, or Insane for making it through ten or more waves. The new items include the Duplicity weapon skin and Game Over decal.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite on Nintendo Switch has three versions available; the standard base game at $29.99, the ‘Into The Hive’ edition at $39.99 (including the base game and the Pathogen expansion) and the Ultimate Edition at $59.99 (including the base game, Pathogen expansion, Endeavor Pass, and Endeavor Veteran Pack).
Apart from Nintendo Switch, the game is also available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
